Cody W. Couch Obituary, Death – A tragic single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning resulted in the death of a Camden man, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA). The accident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Alabama 265, approximately two miles south of Camden.
The victim, identified as 33-year-old Cody W. Couch, was fatally injured when the vehicle he was a passenger in veered off the roadway. The car overturned and collided with multiple trees, causing severe damage. Couch, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Two other individuals were also involved in the accident, including the driver and another passenger. Both sustained injuries and were transported to different hospitals for medical treatment. The driver was taken to John Paul Jones Hospital in Camden, while the second passenger was transferred to USA Hospital in Mobile for further care.
