Colton J. Stock Obituary, Death News – The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department has identified the victim of a recent double shooting as 36-year-old Colton J. Stock. The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 14, when emergency crews were dispatched around 4:30 p.m. to the area of 38th and Lister Avenue following reports of a disturbance that was later updated to a shooting.

Upon arrival, first responders found Stock lying outside a nearby home with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Inside the home, a second adult male was discovered with a life-threatening gunshot wound and was also taken to the hospital.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the shooting was likely triggered by an argument. Detectives are working to establish the relationship between the two victims and identify a person of interest in the case.

As of Thursday, no suspects had been apprehended, and the investigation remains ongoing. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to a conviction.
