Daniel Moritz Obituary, Death – A tragic accident in Adams County early Sunday morning claimed the life of a 43-year-old man. The Pennsylvania State Police in Gettysburg identified the victim as Daniel Moritz of Orrtanna.
According to officials, the crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Cold Spring Road near Whipporwill Lane in Hamiltonban Township. Moritz was driving a Ford pickup truck southbound on Cold Spring Road when, for reasons still under investigation, the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a tree.
