When officers arrived, they found Hambrick suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical services transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite efforts to save him, Hambrick was pronounced dead at 3:26 p.m. on Wednesday, nearly 24 hours after the shooting occurred.
