Devin Flamer Obituary, Death – Delaware State Police have identified the man who died in a single-vehicle crash near Bridgeville early Saturday morning as 27-year-old Devin Flamer, a resident of Bridgeville.
The fatal accident occurred just before 5 a.m. on July 12. According to investigators, Flamer was driving a Buick Century southbound on Wilson Farm Road at what appeared to be a high speed. As he approached the intersection with Cannon Road, the car failed to stop.
Police say the vehicle continued through the intersection, crossing over Conrail Road, and then began to swerve erratically. The car went on and off the roadway before crashing into a concrete barrier and overturning. Authorities reported that Flamer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and he was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries he sustained.
The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is actively investigating the crash to determine the full sequence of events and any contributing factors, such as speed, impairment, or possible mechanical failure.
