Eduardo E. Portillo Obituary, Death News – The individual who lost his life in a shooting incident at an apartment complex in Olathe has been identified as a 28-year-old resident from Independence.
On Friday, February 7, the Olathe, Kansas, Police Department confirmed that the victim of the homicide reported earlier in the week is Eduardo E. Portillo, aged 28, from Independence.
Authorities stated that they received reports of a shooting in the vicinity of W. 127th St. and S. Arapaho Dr. at the Wingfield Apartments around 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Upon arrival, first responders discovered Portillo with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The Police Department noted that he was transported to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead due to his injuries.
