Edward Walker Obituary, Death – Authorities in Austin have released the identity of a pedestrian who was killed in a crash early Saturday morning in North Austin. The victim has been identified as 63-year-old Edward Walker.
The fatal incident occurred on June 28, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m. Officers with the Austin Police Department were called to the 13000 block of North I-35 Northbound Service Road in response to a crash involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.
Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that a pickup truck first struck Walker while he was in the roadway. Moments later, a sedan also struck him. Tragically, Walker was pronounced dead at the scene by responding personnel.
According to police, both drivers involved in the crash stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with law enforcement. Officials have confirmed that neither driver was impaired at the time of the collision.
