TRACY, Calif. —  A 15-year-old boy who lost his life following a stabbing earlier this month in Tracy has now been identified as Jadon Filio Hermosillo. Authorities confirmed that the fatal incident took place on August 18 after a fight involving several teenagers escalated into violence. The Tracy Police Department reported that the confrontation, which occurred at around 6:30 p.m., involved six teens between the ages of 15 and 16.

The fight happened on the 1600 block of Tahoe Circle, a residential neighborhood in Tracy. During the altercation, Hermosillo was among two teens injured. Both were transported to a nearby hospital for emergency care. Despite medical efforts, Hermosillo did not survive his injuries. The second injured teen is expected to recover.

Police have not released specific details regarding what led to the fight or how the stabbing unfolded but confirmed that the case is still under investigation.
