Jamar Hall, Kenneth Oliver Obituary, Death – The Chatham County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identities of two men who were fatally shot over the weekend in Port Wentworth.
Law enforcement responded to a shooting incident at the Parker’s gas station on Old Augusta Road shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, officers discovered one man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head and another victim with a separate gunshot injury.
The victim with the head wound, later identified as 24-year-old Jamar Hall, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim, 22-year-old Kenneth Oliver, was transported to Memorial Health University Medical Center for treatment. However, despite medical efforts, Oliver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday night, the Chatham County Coroner’s Office officially identified both victims and ruled their deaths as homicides.
At this time, authorities have not released further details about the shooting, potential suspects, or any ongoing investigations. Officials are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
