James Thomas Sims Obituary, Death – The Anne Arundel County Police are investigating the cause of a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Severn on Monday. According to officials, shortly after 5:00 PM, a Ford Expedition and a Lexus RX were involved in a head-on collision at the intersection of Telegraph Road and Norcross Lane.
The driver of the Lexus, identified as James Thomas Sims, succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash. Meanwhile, the 19-year-old female driver of the Expedition suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Shock Trauma for medical care.
Additionally, three young passengers in the Ford, aged 3, 5, and 7, were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital for treatment of their injuries. The investigation is being conducted by the Traffic Safety Section’s Crash Reconstruction Team, as stated by the Anne Arundel County Police.
