Javian M. Crespo-Rockmore Obituary, Death – The motorcyclist who died in a single-vehicle crash on Route 22 west in Easton over the weekend has been identified as 29-year-old Javian M. Crespo-Rockmore of Bethlehem, according to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek.
The fatal crash happened just after 6 p.m. on Saturday in the westbound lanes of Route 22. Emergency responders transported Crespo-Rockmore to St. Luke’s Hospital-Anderson in Bethlehem Township, where he was later pronounced dead. The coroner reported that Crespo-Rockmore died from blunt force trauma sustained in the crash, and officially ruled the death accidental.
Easton Police Sergeant Ryan Celia stated that the cause of the crash remains unknown at this time, and the incident is still under investigation. Authorities have not yet released further details about the circumstances that led to the accident.
Following the crash, Route 22 westbound was shut down for several hours to allow investigators to examine the scene. The closure affected traffic between the Easton-Phillipsburg Toll Bridge and 13th Street, according to The Morning Call.
In the days since the accident, an online fundraiser has been created to support Crespo-Rockmore’s family, including his wife and four daughters. By Wednesday afternoon, the campaign had raised more than $6,000 from 135 donors, moving closer to its $8,000 goal.
A message posted on the fundraiser described Crespo-Rockmore as a deeply devoted family man and beloved member of the community. “Javian was a devoted husband, an incredible father to four beautiful daughters, a loving son, a supportive brother, and a cherished friend to many,” the post read. “He was a man of strength, integrity, and unwavering dedication—especially when it came to his family.”
The investigation into the fatal crash is ongoing, led by the Easton Police Department’s Accident Investigation Team in coordination with the Northampton County Coroner’s Office.
