Jefferey Paradise Obituary, Death – A man who lost his life in a house fire in Racine County on Thursday has been identified by authorities.
According to the Racine County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was 38-year-old Jefferey Paradise, a resident of the Black River Falls area. He was the sole victim of the fire, which occurred at a home located at 801 11th Ave. in Union Grove.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 8:18 p.m. after receiving reports of the fire. Once firefighters were able to put out the flames, first responders entered the residence and discovered Paradise’s body inside.
Sheriff Christopher Schmaling expressed condolences in a statement to the Journal Sentinel. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jeffrey Paradise and his friends, family, and loved ones,” Schmaling said.
Authorities revealed that Paradise owned a construction company and had been staying at the house while working on renovations. Investigators noted that space heaters were in use in the room where Paradise was staying.
At this time, both the cause of the fire and Paradise’s exact cause of death remain under investigation.
