Jere Charginghawk Obituary, Death Cause – Lincoln police have released the identity of the pedestrian who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the northern part of the city over the weekend. Authorities confirmed on Monday that the victim was 44-year-old Jere Charginghawk.

The fatal incident occurred early Saturday morning, around 12:30 a.m., near the intersection of North 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway. According to the Lincoln Police Department (LPD), Charginghawk was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a nearby business in that area.
