Joharis Rivas Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in broad daylight on Tuesday in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
The victim, 21-year-old Joharis Rivas, was discovered unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head outside 10 Meserole Street at approximately 12:18 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.
Emergency medical personnel quickly transported Rivas to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, but despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Police have not yet provided a description of a suspect, and the individual responsible for the attack remains at large.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting, urging anyone with information to come forward.
