Jonathan Belisle gravely Obituary, Death – A 35-year-old man lost his life in an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash that occurred during rainy weather on Wednesday morning in Granville, Vermont. According to the Vermont State Police, troopers responded to a report of an ATV accident on North Hollow Road at approximately 7:43 a.m.
Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered the driver, identified as Jonathan Belisle of Hancock, Vermont, with severe injuries. Tragically, Belisle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The initial investigation revealed that Belisle had been riding his Kawasaki Prairie ATV northbound along North Hollow Road. For reasons still unknown, the vehicle veered off the left side of the road and collided head-on with a tree. The impact proved fatal. Authorities confirmed that Belisle was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
While investigators have not yet determined what caused the ATV to leave the road, they did note that it was raining at the time and the road was wet. However, it remains unclear whether the poor weather and slick conditions contributed to the crash.
