Jordan Hansen Obituary, Death News – A tragic two-vehicle crash in Wareham, Massachusetts, has claimed the life of a 25-year-old motorcyclist, identified as Jordan Hansen. The incident occurred on Friday evening, prompting an urgent response from local authorities.

Around 5 p.m. on July 19, Wareham police began receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a collision involving a motorcycle and a car near 2628 Cranberry Highway. Officers and emergency personnel arrived at the scene to find the motorcycle rider lying on the ground with severe, life-threatening injuries. Hansen was initially rushed to Tobey Hospital for treatment and later transferred to St. Luke’s Hospital. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.

The Plymouth District Attorney’s Office confirmed Hansen’s identity and announced that a full investigation into the circumstances of the crash is still ongoing.

Authorities later located the other vehicle involved in the incident approximately a quarter mile from the crash site. The car’s driver, 67-year-old Raymond Cardoza from West Wareham, was taken into custody by law enforcement officials. He is facing several serious charges stemming from the fatal crash.

According to the District Attorney’s Office, Cardoza has been charged with manslaughter while operating under the influence, marking his fourth OUI (Operating Under the Influence) offense. In addition to the manslaughter charge, he is also being charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in injury or death and driving with a suspended license. The severity of the charges reflects not only the fatal outcome of the crash but also the alleged history of impaired driving by the suspect.

Cardoza was held on \$100,000 cash bail following his arrest and is expected to face legal proceedings as the investigation continues. Prosecutors and police have not released further details about the moments leading up to the crash or whether additional charges could be filed.

The Wareham community is mourning the sudden loss of Jordan Hansen, whose life was cut short in the violent crash. The incident has also reignited concerns about repeat offenders of impaired driving and the potential dangers they pose on public roads.

Officials from the Plymouth District Attorney’s Office, along with Wareham police and other relevant agencies, are continuing to piece together what happened, gathering witness statements, evidence from the scene, and further details about the suspect’s actions leading up to the collision.

As the investigation unfolds, authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the crash to come forward to assist in building a clearer picture of the events that led to this deadly outcome.

In the meantime, Hansen’s family and loved ones are left to cope with a devastating loss while the community awaits justice for a young life ended too soon.
