Authorities report that a 29-year-old man from Brockport has died following a vehicle crash early Friday morning in Greece.
The Greece Police Department confirmed the victim as Joseph Gobble. The incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. at the Kwik Fill gas station. Investigators say Gobble’s vehicle struck several fuel pumps and support pillars beneath the station canopy before coming to rest against a concrete support pole.
Gobble was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Authorities noted that the crash caused significant damage to the gas pumps and canopy structure, and the vehicle itself was heavily damaged.
