Joshua Ledesma Obituary, Death – A 30-year-old man who was shot and killed in East Los Angeles was identified by county authorities on Saturday. Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 500 block of Bradshawe Avenue, close to the Montebello border, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in relation to a shooting, according to officials.

Upon their arrival at the scene, deputies discovered the victim, identified as Joshua Ledesma by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, lying in a driveway, as reported by NBC 4.

Ledesma was declared dead at the scene, as stated by sheriff’s homicide Lieutenant Omar Camacho. The shooting took place during the graduation ceremony of the nearby Eastmont Intermediate School in Montebello. Mike Rodriguez, a resident of the area, reported hearing gunfire and initially mistook it for fireworks.

“The unfortunate part is that the children were leaving school at that moment, which caused quite a commotion around here,” Rodriguez informed NBC4.
