Justin Ciaccia Obituary, Death – A 33-year-old man has been identified as the person who died in a triple shooting incident that occurred over the weekend, according to police.
Justin Ciaccia, 33, of Levittown, was fatally shot in the head during a violent exchange of gunfire that took place around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday at a residence on Quickset Road in the Quincy Hollow neighborhood of Levittown, said Detective Lt. Steve Forman of the Middletown Township Police Department.
Two other individuals were also injured in the shooting. Joseph Williams, 57, also from Levittown, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the abdomen, thigh, and knee. He was rushed to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment. His current condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Another person at the scene, Rachel Whitley, 33, of Hulmeville, also suffered a gunshot wound to the head. However, authorities said she was found conscious, alert, talking, and walking despite the seriousness of her injury.
According to Forman, the other people inside the home at the time of the incident were not physically harmed.
Investigators believe that both Ciaccia and Williams were actively involved in the exchange of gunfire, suggesting that they may have both fired weapons. Forman referred to the two men as the “shooters” in the incident. It’s unclear whether Whitley was caught in the crossfire or played any role in the altercation.
Police have confirmed that all the individuals involved knew each other, although the nature of their relationships has not been clarified. The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and authorities have not yet provided details on what might have sparked the violence.
At this time, no charges have been filed, and the investigation is still underway. Police, along with detectives and officials from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, are continuing to collect evidence and conduct interviews as they try to piece together what led to the deadly confrontation.
Once the investigation is complete, prosecutors will review the findings to determine whether any criminal charges will be brought against those involved.
The incident has drawn significant attention in the local community, particularly given the severity of the injuries and the fact that it occurred in a typically quiet residential neighborhood. Authorities have not said whether the public is at any risk, but the fact that the involved individuals were known to each other suggests the violence was not random.
Law enforcement is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Middletown Township Police Department as they continue their investigation.
