Kari Hatfield Obituary, Death – A 47-year-old Midland woman, Kari Hatfield, was fatally shot on Saginaw’s east side on Saturday evening. The incident occurred near the intersection of South 12th Street and Perkins Street, prompting a response from the Saginaw Police Department at approximately 6:25 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found Hatfield lying in the road with gunshot wounds. She was quickly transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
Following the incident, police apprehended two men and detained them at the Saginaw County Jail. Their identities have not been disclosed as they had not been formally arraigned by Monday morning. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the events leading to the shooting.
