Kenneth Solovay Obituary, Death – Authorities in Fort Lauderdale have released new details regarding a tragic hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of a bicyclist over the weekend. Police identified the victim as 58-year-old Kenneth Solovay, who was struck early Saturday morning while riding along Davie Boulevard.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:08 a.m. near 2000 W. Davie Blvd., close to Interstate 95. Responding officers found evidence of a collision between a vehicle and a bicyclist, but the driver of the involved car had fled the scene. Investigators later identified the suspect vehicle as a silver Mercedes-Benz, which has since been located and seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
