Kennetz Daniels Obituary, Death – A young man from Edwards, Mississippi, was found dead Friday evening in Walls, Mississippi, from what authorities believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Walls Police Department released a statement confirming that officers were called to the 3000 block of Camilla Circle West shortly after 8 p.m. following a report of an unresponsive male near a pond.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult Black male lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound that seemed to have been self-inflicted. Emergency medical personnel were immediately called to the scene and began administering life-saving procedures in an attempt to revive him.
Despite their efforts, the man, later identified as 22-year-old Kennetz Daniels of Edwards, Mississippi, was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 9:19 p.m.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident, although at this time, no foul play is suspected.
