Kevin Edwards Obituary, Death – Authorities in Washington, D.C. have identified a man who lost his life in a double shooting incident that occurred in Northeast on Sunday evening. Shortly before 10:15 p.m. on April 27, law enforcement officials responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of 54th St., SE, where they discovered 28-year-old Kevin Edwards from Northeast, D.C. inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.
It was also reported that a woman sustained a graze wound from a bullet. Both individuals were transported to a medical facility for treatment; however, despite the efforts of the medical staff, Edwards succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators determined that Edwards was shot in the 4400 block of Foote St., NE, which is approximately an eight-minute drive from the location on 54th Street. As of Monday evening, no arrests have been made in relation to this case, and the investigation remains active.
