Kyler Rugg Death Obituary News – The WACO Community School District is mourning the loss of a student following a fatal crash on Friday afternoon.
According to officials, 17-year-old Kyler Rugg, a senior at WACO High School, was involved in a single-vehicle rollover on the 1700 block of Franklin Avenue. Superintendent Spencer Lueders shared his condolences, stating, “This loss is heartbreaking, and our thoughts and prayers are with Kyler’s family, friends, classmates, and all those who are grieving. Moments like this remind us that our school district is more than classrooms and schedules — we are a community, and we care deeply for one another.”
The school district has arranged additional counseling support for students and staff as they return to classes. Officials emphasized that the community’s well-being remains a priority during this difficult time.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Students, parents, and community members are encouraged to reach out to school counselors if support is needed.
