Lajames Devon Shannon Obituary, Death – The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) has identified the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred late Saturday night in the Napier area. Authorities confirmed that 39-year-old Lajames Devon Shannon was shot and killed while riding a miniature motorbike on Fain Street.
According to the MNPD, the incident happened around 11:35 p.m. near the intersection of Fain Street and Fairfield Avenue. Shannon was riding the motorbike when he was targeted. Responding officers discovered him lying on the right side of Fain Street beside the motorbike, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency responders transported Shannon to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, but despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
