Lisa Lazier Obituary, Death – McDuffie County Coroner Paul Johnson has disclosed the identity of the individual who perished in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday morning.
According to the coroner’s office, 60-year-old Lisa Lazier, a resident of Thomson, lost her life in the incident.
The accident was reported at 6:18 a.m. on Saturday, occurring in the 1400 block of Cobham Road in Thomson.
Lazier was operating a Toyota Corolla heading east when she was struck by an SUV that was traveling westbound.
The coroner’s office pronounced Lazier dead at the scene at 6:53 a.m.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital.
The Georgia State Patrol is currently conducting an investigation.
An autopsy has been arranged for the following week.
