Melodie Vohar Obituary, Death – A collision involving two vehicles in Rockbridge County led to one fatality, two injuries, and one individual uninjured, according to the Virginia State Police. On the afternoon of Wednesday, June 4, a Jaguar XF failed to yield and was subsequently struck by an approaching Honda Civic at the intersection of East Midland Trail and Memorial Lane.

The driver of the Jaguar, identified as Melodie Vohar, aged 78, from Lexington, Virginia, was declared dead at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt, as reported by VSP investigators.

The Honda, which was carrying two individuals—a 19-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man—sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital.

Investigators noted that both victims were not wearing seatbelts.

A 78-year-old man who was traveling with Vohar remained unharmed and was confirmed to have been wearing a seatbelt, according to officials.
