Michael Edward Clemons Obituary, Death – A 48-year-old man was arrested in La Plata, Maryland, after allegedly killing his 15-year-old stepson. The incident occurred just after midnight on Wednesday at a home on Huntt Road, prompting a response from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Darshan Eric Williams standing outside the house where the shooting had taken place. After taking Williams into custody, authorities discovered his stepson, Michael Edward Clemons, inside the home. Clemons was unconscious and not breathing. Despite efforts to revive him, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators later determined that the fatal shooting occurred after Williams became angry with Clemons for not completing his chores. The situation escalated, leading to the shooting.
Williams was charged with second-degree murder and first-degree assault and was jailed at the Charles County Detention Center.
