Michael Trenner, Nikko Hill Obituary, Death News – Two individuals from Santa Clara were killed, and two others were injured in a tragic crash involving a box truck off Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County, south of Thornton, Thursday afternoon. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the crash occurred at around 12:42 p.m. on southbound I-5 near the offramp for Peltier Road.

The driver, who sustained minor injuries, explained that the accident happened after he attempted to switch lanes and inadvertently veered too far onto the shoulder of the highway. This caused the truck to crash into a large tree.

Despite wearing seat belts, the right rear and front passengers were ejected from the vehicle during the collision. The front passenger, 33-year-old Michael Trenner, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the rear passenger, 30-year-old Nikko Hill, succumbed to his injuries at San Joaquin General Hospital.

The left rear passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have stated that alcohol or drugs are not suspected to have contributed to the crash.

This incident has left the local community in shock as officials continue to investigate the cause of the crash and the factors that led to the tragic deaths of Trenner and Hill.
