Morris Felton, Craig Robinson Obituary, Death – The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the two individuals who were fatally shot in the California neighborhood last month. Morris Felton, 61, and Craig Robinson, 62, both succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds on December 21.
Authorities report that 39-year-old Abrahem Balata is accused of shooting and killing Felton and Robinson at a house on Garland Avenue, just days before Christmas. Three other people were also injured in the incident. Felton and Robinson were pronounced dead at the scene.
Balata faces several charges, including two counts of murder, three counts of assault, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He is currently being held at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on a $1 million bond.
Balata is scheduled to appear in court again next week as the case progresses.
