Phillip Conner Arrested – A man is currently in custody following a stabbing incident late Thursday night in Colorado Springs, according to the local police department. At approximately 11:43 p.m., officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to a call reporting a stabbing at the 2400 block of North Union Boulevard. When officers arrived at the scene, they located a male victim who had sustained a knife wound to his neck. Fortunately, the injury was determined to be non-life-threatening.

Soon after their arrival, officers were able to identify and apprehend the suspect involved in the attack. The alleged assailant, 42-year-old Phillip Conner, was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities revealed that the suspect and victim were acquainted prior to the altercation. The initial confrontation reportedly began inside a nearby bar and then escalated into a physical conflict that continued into the adjacent parking lot. It was during this outdoor altercation that the stabbing occurred.

Following his arrest, Conner was formally charged with first-degree assault. He was booked into the El Paso County Jail early Friday morning. As of now, the case remains under investigation, and police have not released additional details about the events leading up to the incident.

Officials are urging anyone with more information about the incident or who may have witnessed the altercation to come forward to assist in the investigation.
