Preston Bell Obituary Death – The Independence Police Department has confirmed that a 19-year-old man who was reported missing on Saturday was the same person found dead on Sunday. The victim, identified as Preston Bell, was discovered in a car near the I-435 and Truman Road area in Kansas City, Missouri, on the afternoon of Sunday, November 24.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., the Kansas City Police Department received reports of a person slumped over in a car. Responding officers located the vehicle on the southbound exit ramp of the interstate. Inside the car, they found Bell, who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound. Despite efforts by emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier that day, the Independence Police Department had issued a missing person alert for Bell, who had been last seen at around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 23. Bell was reportedly forced into his car in front of his home, and after that, his family was unable to contact him.
When officers from Independence responded to the scene on Sunday, they confirmed that the deceased individual was indeed Preston Bell. The case is now being investigated as a homicide by the Independence Police Department.
