Randall Wagner, Debbie Lee Obituary, Death cause – A fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred on June 26, 2025, along U.S. Highway 59, roughly 3.5 miles east of Afton in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. The collision, which happened around 5:41 p.m. near South 564 Road, claimed the lives of two people and left another injured.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the crash began when a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer, driven by 70-year-old Randall Wagner of Grove, Oklahoma, was traveling eastbound. For reasons that are still unknown, Wagner’s vehicle crossed over the center line of the highway and entered the westbound lane.
The Trailblazer then collided head-on with a 2020 Kia Soul, which was being driven by 69-year-old Debbie Lee, also a resident of Grove. Emergency crews who responded to the crash declared both Wagner and Lee dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the impact.
A passenger in the Trailblazer, identified as 61-year-old Olivette Wagner, was also injured in the collision. She was transported by Quapaw EMS to Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Medical staff at the hospital admitted her in fair condition, treating her for both internal and external injuries.
A third vehicle, a Nissan Rogue driven by 34-year-old Kayla Getz from Seneca, Missouri, was also affected by the crash. Reports indicate that Getz swerved in an attempt to avoid the collision, but ended up striking the Trailblazer. Fortunately, Getz was not injured in the incident.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate the exact cause of the collision. Authorities have not yet determined what led Randall Wagner’s vehicle to cross into the oncoming lane.
