ELGIN, Texas — A devastating crash in Elgin late Saturday night left two people dead and four others hospitalized, according to police. The multi-vehicle accident occurred near the intersection of U.S. Highway 290 North and Saratoga Farms Boulevard at approximately 11:55 p.m.
Authorities reported that one officer, who happened to be refueling at a nearby gas station, rushed to the scene immediately after the collision.
