The mayor of North Providence has confirmed that one of the individuals killed in the recent shooting at a Pawtucket ice rink was the son of the suspected gunman.
Charles Lombardi shared the information during a radio interview, stating that he had been informed that the suspect’s younger son was among those who died. The mayor made the comments while speaking with local media, saying that this was his understanding based on the information available to him.
Authorities have identified the alleged shooter as Robert Dorgan. Officials confirmed that the family resided in North Providence.
