Ron Benn, Antoine Bishop Obituary, Death – Two men tragically lost their lives in a fatal car crash early yesterday morning on Bennett’s Road in St. James. The victims have been identified as 41-year-old Ron Benn of Rose Hill, St. Peter, and 37-year-old Antoine Bishop of Alleynedale, St. Lucy. Both men were formally identified by their families.
The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. when the vehicle they were traveling in collided head-on with a utility pole. The impact was severe, and Benn and Bishop were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers, a 24-year-old man and a woman in her 20s, were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The female passenger sustained serious head injuries along with other significant injuries to her body. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance for emergency treatment. The male passenger suffered multiple cuts and abrasions and was also taken to the hospital for medical care.
