Stephanie Hernandez Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the woman who was fatally shot in Stockton earlier this month.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the shooting occurred in the early hours of February 15. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 3:19 a.m. in the 1900 block of Hickock Court.
Upon arrival, police discovered a 28-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported her to a hospital for medical treatment. Despite efforts to save her, she later succumbed to her injuries.
The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as Stephanie Hernandez, a Stockton resident.
At this time, authorities have not released any information regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting. The case remains under active investigation.
