Taylor Mudd Obituary, Death – A man was killed in a shooting Friday evening in Louisville’s Buechel neighborhood, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD). Officers were called to the scene around 5:30 p.m. after reports of a shooting near the intersection of Bardstown Road and Fegenbush Lane.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 25-year-old Taylor Mudd, who had been shot while inside a vehicle. They provided immediate first aid before transporting Mudd to the University of Louisville Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, Mudd later succumbed to his injuries.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is now overseeing the investigation into the incident. Detectives are working to piece together the events leading up to the shooting and are seeking to understand the possible motive behind the attack. At this time, there are no identified suspects, and the investigation remains ongoing.
