Authorities identified the victim as 44-year-old Terrell Robinson, a resident of Richmond. According to the Richmond Police Department, officers were dispatched just after 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 4, following reports of gunfire in the 00 block of East 10th Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered Robinson lying on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. Emergency responders immediately transported him to a local hospital, where he was treated for life-threatening injuries. Despite medical efforts, Robinson died as a result of his wounds.
