The fatal crash occurred just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Greenwich Road and Zebra Street. According to Wichita Police Department spokesperson Officer Kristopher Gupilan, Bradfield was riding his motorcycle north on Greenwich when a vehicle heading south made a turn onto Zebra Street, crossing into Bradfield’s path.

The resulting impact left Bradfield with severe injuries. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, but despite efforts to save him, he was later pronounced dead.

Initial findings from the investigation suggest the collision happened as the southbound vehicle was attempting to make a left turn onto Zebra Street, failing to yield to the oncoming motorcycle. Authorities have not released details on the driver of the other vehicle or whether any citations have been issued at this time.

Following the crash, the Wichita Police Department activated its Critical Accident Team to examine the scene and gather evidence. Investigators are working to determine the exact circumstances that led to the fatal incident, and the investigation is still ongoing.
