Timothy Cayler Obituary, Death – The individual from Lake Lillian who tragically lost his life in a collision involving a mini-van and a bicycle on Wednesday evening was identified as 54-year-old Timothy Cayler. Cayler served as the Director of Music at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Willmar and previously held the position of 6th through 8th Grade Choir Director at Willmar Public Schools. He is survived by his wife Shannon, who is also an educator at Willmar Public Schools, and their four sons. Funeral arrangements are currently being organized by Harvey Anderson and Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar.
According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Department, Cayler was fatally injured when the bicycle he was riding entered the path of a mini-van that was overtaking him on 120th Avenue Southeast, close to Svea, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The identity of the 59-year-old woman from Lake Lillian who was operating the mini-van has not yet been disclosed.
