Travon Pratt Obituary, Death: Authorities have identified the second person who died following a shooting in the Central-Travon Pratt Obituary, Death:Alameda area of South Los Angeles earlier this week. The Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner confirmed on Wednesday that the second victim was 48-year-old Travon Pratt.

The shooting took place late Monday night at the intersection of Central Avenue and 50th Street. Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Newton Division responded to the scene around 11 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers learned that two suspects had driven up to the victims and opened fire, shooting multiple times before fleeing the area.

Emergency medical personnel from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived shortly after. At the scene, they found a woman who had already succumbed to her injuries. She was later identified as 49-year-old Taniya Delouth. Meanwhile, Pratt was discovered nearby suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition but unfortunately died a short time later.

The suspects reportedly fled the scene by heading westbound on 50th Street, according to LAPD officials. As of now, police have not released any specific descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle involved in the crime.

Investigators continue to search for leads in the case, but no arrests have been made. Authorities have not yet revealed a possible motive behind the deadly shooting, and it remains unclear whether the victims were targeted or if the act was random.

The double homicide has shocked the local community and raised ongoing concerns about gun violence in South Los Angeles. Residents in the area, especially those living near the crime scene, have expressed fear and frustration over the continuing wave of shootings in their neighborhood.
