Victor Lapharohs Obituary, Death – Authorities in Baton Rouge have released the identity of the man who was fatally shot Monday afternoon on Woodpecker Street. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Woodpecker Street and Avenue J shortly after 3:15 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds in a nearby parking lot. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Victor Lapharohs.
As of now, investigators have not identified a suspect or determined a motive behind the shooting. The case remains under investigation.
