Wilian Arnaldo Maldonado Bonilla Obituary, Death News – Authorities in Bexar County have identified the man who was fatally shot along U.S. Highway 90 as 24-year-old Wilian Arnaldo Maldonado Bonilla. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Bonilla died from a gunshot wound to the chest and officially ruled his death a homicide.
The shooting occurred late Friday night, July 25, around 11:30 p.m. Officers from the San Antonio Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 7300 block of U.S. Highway 90 West. Upon arrival, they discovered a man, later identified as Bonilla, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Emergency medical responders rushed Bonilla to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was later pronounced dead.
As of now, police have not released any information regarding a suspect or motive. In their initial report, they stated that it remains unclear who was responsible for the shooting or what led to the deadly encounter.
