William Andrew Scott, Jr – Authorities in Henrico County have confirmed the identity of a man killed in a shooting that occurred Sunday evening.
According to the Henrico Police Department, officers responded around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 to the intersection of Maple Run Lane and Oak Run Lane after reports of a firearm incident.
Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot injuries. Eighteen-year-old William Andrew Scott, Jr., of Henrico County, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Police detectives are actively investigating and have followed up on several leads to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. No additional information regarding suspects or motive has been released.
