William Norris Obituary, Death – A tragic collision involving two vehicles occurred on US 68 and Lebanon Bypass in Marion County on Saturday morning, leading to the death of a 55-year-old man and the subsequent arrest of another individual on charges prior to the incident, according to officials. The Kentucky State Police reported that at approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, troopers were dispatched to the scene of an injury collision.

An initial investigation revealed that a man, identified by officials as 26-year-old Justin Baron, was operating a Dodge Ram while traveling west on US 68. As Baron neared the intersection with the Lebanon Bypass, KSP indicated that he attempted to execute a right turn at a high speed. KSP further stated that he “lost control of his vehicle” and struck a GMC Sierra, which was being driven by 55-year-old William Norris of Loretto, who was halted at a traffic light heading south on the bypass.

According to KSP, Norris was declared deceased at the scene by the Marion County Coroner, while Baron was transported to a local hospital for treatment of what were reported as minor injuries.

Baron was subsequently released and taken into custody on charges “related to an incident” that occurred prior to the crash. KSP also mentioned that further charges connected to the collision are forthcoming.
