Robin Kaye Obituary, Death: Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal shootings of longtime “American Idol” music supervisor Robin Kaye and her husband, Thomas Deluca, inside their home in Encino, California.

Police said the couple was found in separate rooms inside their San Fernando Valley home. Law enforcement officials believe the fatal incident took place the previous Thursday during a break-in. The LAPD responded to a call for a welfare check at the home located on White Oak Place, just off Ventura Boulevard, around 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Upon arrival, officers noticed a blood trail leading to the residence. They entered through a shattered glass door at the rear of the property and discovered both victims inside—each with gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Police said Kaye was found in the home’s pantry, while Deluca was located in a bathroom. Footage from NewsChopper4 showed the back sliding glass door broken, providing a possible entry point for the suspect.

One neighbor, Amee Faggen, said her tenant had noticed someone jumping over a fence in the area last Thursday and called 911. However, Faggen noted that they hadn’t heard anything unusual since. Police dispatch records confirm that officers were dispatched to the home that Thursday afternoon for a prowler report. Responding officers arrived around 5 p.m., but reportedly found no signs of a break-in or suspicious activity at that time.
