Dominique Epps Obituary, Death – A 37-year-old man has been confirmed as the individual who was shot and killed in Richmond’s Northside on Thursday evening. Detectives have identified Dominique Epps, a 37-year-old resident of Henrico County, as the deceased man found in the 2200 block of Chamberlayne Avenue on the evening of Thursday, June 5.

Officers received a call regarding a shooting incident at a business shortly before 9:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officials discovered a man lying unresponsive inside the establishment, suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

According to police, he was declared dead at the scene.

“Major Crimes detectives are treating this case as a potential robbery attempt involving Epps, which resulted in an exchange of gunfire with an employee,” stated Richmond Police.
