Marquel Dior Echols – Authorities in Greensboro are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Sunday afternoon. According to the Greensboro Police Department, officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to the 2100 block of Joseph McNeil Avenue following reports of a shooting.
At the scene, police found 33-year-old Marquel Dior Echols with life-threatening injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the location.
The case is currently being investigated as a homicide. Authorities have not released information regarding a motive or any potential suspects at this time.
